The Heritage Sector in the HIghlands and Islands has the benefit of having organised itself into several area musuem forums. Whilst these are autonomous and follow no standard makeup, procedure or remit, they do represent a grassroots driven structure for the sharing of information. The question up to now has been how do we get them to work together. We hope that these pages will go part of the way, by offering dedicated public areas, for the Museum Forums to introduce themselves to each other either by lodging press releases or minute documents, or by making a more formal notice of intent.
