Heritage North Icons

Hilke MacIntyre runs off the first of the limited edition prints

The Heritage North artwork has drawn much admiration, since our launch. We passed your compliments on to the artist, Fife-based Hilke Macinytyre who developed the icons at the top of the page. These were originally done as linocuts and subsequently coloured by Redpath, our design partners, for use on the site.

Hilke has responded to demand by making prints of  a montage of the linocut icons available for £45 incl;uding post and packing. See here.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that the puffin, or "sea parrott", fratercula arctica, is missing from the selection. Space determined that it should cede its place. However, we will send a full colour laser print of the lovable puffin icon to anyone who buys the linocut print. Email to the address at the bottom of the page.
