The Heritage Centre celebrates the history and culture of the remote Peninsula of Applecross in Wester Ross.
Open Easter to End October, from 12 noon till 4.00 pm.
Adults £2.00 Children free.

Collection information
|
The exhibition celebrates the history and culture of Applecross from the Mesolithic Period, through the introduction of Christianity by Saint Maelrubha, to the present day. Artifacts relating to crofting and the rural way of life are on display. In the reading room, the archives of the Applecross Historical Society are available for study. There are also computerised Census records, details of local archaeological sites, images of old Applecross, a genealogical database and recorded interviews of the reminiscences of past and present residents.
