Description
|
In 1943 two Nissen huts were made available to the five hundred and fifty Italian prisoners and, under the direction of Dominico Chiochetti was transformed into a chapel. Many prisoners helped in the work – a cement worker, a blacksmith, an electrician and many others but it was Chiochetti was responsible for the beautiful art work.
