| Highland Tri-Museum project | |
| 10 December 2006 This project aims to establish a network of legacy projects based on long-term loans of National Museums Scotland collections across the Highlands. Currently, this involves in the furthest west (Kilmartin, Argyll), north (Auckengill, Caithness) and east (Tarbat, Easter Ross). Should the project achieve full funding it will bring together three independent museums and their associated landscapes to present the prehistory and early history of the Highlands of Scotland. Initial stages of the project are being developed during, and through funding from, Highland 2007. | |
